You can now update your status or send messages to friends on Facebook/Twitter through the SMS2.0 messaging screen(*).
- To log into facebook/twitter, open the 'new/create message' screen, select Options and scroll down to click on Facebook/Twitter.
- Select My Facebook or My Twitter and it will take you to a facebook/twitter dashboard.
- Click on Settings, accept the terms and conditions and then enter your username/password to log into your social account. Once logged in, your Facebook / twitter contacts will automatically be added to your phone. There will also be an entry for Update Status and Refresh Contacts.
- You can periodically update this list of social contacts by selecting Refresh Contacts.
After typing out your SMS, to post your status message or tweet
- Create a new message and enter the text.
- Click Options and select Add Social Contacts.
- Select Update Status on facebook/twitter & click ‘Send.
* SMS2.0 LIVE does not save your username/password details for facebook/twitter. Your login details are encrypted and are therefore completely secured

Worried about others seeing your messages in your inbox? Now you have the power to password protect all existing & incoming SMS*.
- To Hide your SMS, go to your inbox, click on Options and scroll down to select ‘Secret SMS’
- You can now hide all your existing SMS or protect (Hide) all new SMS
- If you are opening Secret SMS for the 1st time, you will be asked to enter a new 4 digit PIN, once you confirm the PIN, you will be asked to enter a secret question & answer. This question will be prompted if you select ‘ Forgot PIN’ option anytime
- Once you hide your SMS, no one would be able to find it anywhere in your inbox
- To Unhide your SMS, go to your inbox, click on Options and scroll down to select ‘Secret SMS’
- Now scroll down & select ‘Show all SMS’ option
- Once you enter the correct PIN code, your hidden SMS will be visible in your inbox
- If you forgot your PIN, go to your inbox, click Options and scroll down to select ‘Secret SMS’
- Scroll down and select ‘Forgot PIN?’ You will be asked the secret question you entered while creating your PIN. Once you enter the correct answer, you can retrieve your PIN
- If you want to change your PIN, go to your inbox, click Options scroll down to select ‘Secret SMS’
- Scroll down and select ‘Change PIN’ option. Please enter your old PIN and a new PIN u want to save

Now you have the power to schedule an SMS for any future Date/Time as per your convenience!! Be it wishing someone a Happy Bday or scheduling a meeting later in the week; SMS2.0 allows you to send your message at a later time.
- Create a new message, enter the text and select recipients
- Once you are ready to send, click on Options & select ‘Send message later’
- An SMS2.0 editor window will open, asking you to enter the following:
- Date: Please enter the future date on which the SMS is to be sent
- Time: Please enter the time at which the message is to be sent
- Notify after sending: If you want to be notified after sending SMS, please select Yes
- Remind before sending: If you want the application to remind you about the scheduled message before sending, please select time. Eg if you select 5 minutes, you will be informed 5 minutes before message is sent (as per the Date & time you entered)
- Repeat: If you want the sms to be sent on a regularly basis, then please select accordingly daily, weekly, monthly or yearly
- Click ‘Schedule’. In case you want to cancel the message, go to Drafts and delete the messages

- In the ‘new/create message’ window, click on Options and scroll down to select ‘Smileys & Colours’
- Click on ‘Smiley’s’ and choose from over 28 cool Smileys to add fun to your message
After typing out your SMS, to post your status message or tweet
- In the ‘new/create message’ window, click on Options and scroll down to select ‘Smiley’s & Colours’
- Click on ‘Colour my SMS’ and then select ‘This Message’ or ‘All messages’ (In case u want to set the colour combination as your default SMS theme)
- Next, click ‘Text colour’ and simply select one of the 8 groovy colours available.
- To change Background, simply click on ‘Background colour’ tab & select from one of the 8 trendy colours available
- On the ‘new/create message’ window, click on Options and scroll down to ‘Smileys & Colours’
- Select ‘Colour my SMS’ and scroll down to select ‘Remove Colour’
You can now change the font size for all your SMS's.
- On the ‘new/create message’ window, click on Options and scroll down to ‘SMS2.0 Options’
- Scroll down to ‘Font Size’ option and choose the desired size
- Create a New text Message
- Click on Options and scroll down to the ‘SMS2.0 Options’ and select Edit signature.
- Type your Signature and Press ok.
Whats Hot is a funky zone for SMS2.0 users that provides special deals/offers and information on popular brands along with SMS2.0 Help support.
- To access this section, click on Options on the ‘new/create message’ screen, scroll down and select ‘What’s Hot’

- To view the leaderboard, click on Options on the ‘new/create message’ screen, scroll down and select ‘What’s Hot’
- Select the icon for ‘Leaderboard’ and check out the latest points tally
Press up the navigation key till the facebook/twitter icon or the SMS2.0 icon is highlighted.
The top toolbar, placed just above the add recipients area in the ‘new/create message’ window, has two tabs – SMS2.0 and facebook/twitter. You can press the left/right navigation key to switch between these two tabs.
- SMS2.0 icon is a shortcut for you to directly recommend SMS2.0 to a friend.
- Facebook/twitter tab enables you to easily select your social contacts or update status option
Keep pressing down your navigation key till you see a toolbar at the bottom of the screen. Then press the right navigation to see all options.
This contains shortcuts to add recipients, social contacts, colours, Smileys and font to your SMS. You can also recommend SMS2.0 and know more about SMS2.0 .

- On the 'new/create message' window, click on Options.
- Select 'Recommend a Friend' option and a notification normal SMS charges apply will be displayed. Click Ok.
- Next, select the contacts to who you want to recommend.
- You are then asked if you wish to send the recommendation. Click Send
SMS2.0 LIVE
- On the ‘new/create message’ window, click on Options and scroll down to ‘SMS2.0 LIVE Options’
- Select ‘Recommend SMS2.0 LIVE’ option and a notification normal SMS charges apply will be displayed. Click Ok.
- Next, select the contacts to who you want to recommend.
- You are then asked if you wish to send the recommendation. Click Send

- The teaser is displayed to you on sending a message. You can also view it while typing an SMS by using your down arrow key to move to the teaser and clicking on it. Alternatively you can access the Options menu, scroll down and select ’Free Content’
- Select ‘View teaser detail’. Once you see the full screen content, Please scroll right to enjoy more fun content for free
You can set your content/teaser preferences by modifying your profile.
- On the ‘new/create message’ window, click on Options and scroll down to ‘SMS2.0 Options’
- Select ‘Register’ or ‘Update profile’ and enter the details requested.
- To move to the next page, click Next. You can also use the arrow keys.
- Select or deselect interests using the Select key and click on Register/Update
At any point, you can save the teaser or teaser detail image
- Select the Options menu, scroll down and select 'Free Content' and then 'Save picture'. You will be prompted to save the image in your desired location.
If the content displayed is not to your liking then you can consider updating your content preferences before disabling it. If you still want to disable teasers:
- Open the Options menu on the ‘new/create SMS’ window
- Scroll down to the ‘Free Content’ submenu, expand it, and select Disable teaser.
In case u disabled Teaser by mistake or you want to turn it on again, simply scroll down to Options Menu, select ‘Free Content’ & then ‘Enable teaser’
If you like some content item and would like to share it on facebook or twitter for your friends to see
- Open the Options menu while you are viewing the content
- Select ‘Share with friends’. Further select wither Facebook and this content link will be posted on your wall
- Or select Twitter and the link will come as a tweet on your twitter account
- You can now search on web through your SMS2.0 Menu
- Simply type whatever u want to search on the 'new/create sms' window
- Click on Options, scroll down to 'Search' & select from the available options
- In Case you are opening hotmail from your SMS2.0 window for the 1st time, select the Options menu.
- Scroll Down to ‘Windows Live’ & select Hotmail
- Phone will prompt you to configure Hotmail account. Select ‘Yes’
- You will reach Windows Live settings page, where you need to enter your email address & password
- To access your Hotmail account anytime, just go to Messaging menu & select Hotmail
- Open the Options menu & select connect.
- To refresh your email (once you are connected), select Retrieve
- In Case you are opening ‘Windows Messenger’ from your SMS2.0 window for the 1st time, select Options Menu.
- Scroll Down to ‘Windows Live’ & select Messenger
- Phone will prompt you to configure Messenger account. Select ‘Yes’
- You will reach Windows Live settings page, where you need to enter your email address & password
- To Access your Messenger, Open Options menu, scroll down to ‘Windows Live’ submenu & select messenger
In case you are not able to see any new content (Jokes, Movies etc), please scroll down to SMS2.0 Options on the Options menu and select ‘Refresh Content’.
If you still do not get new content, then please check for the following:
- Low Memory-Check your phone memory. If there is not enough memory then you will not be able to see new content (Jokes, News etc). Ideally you should have at least 1MB (1000 kB) free on your phone memory (excluding memory card).
You could try deleting or transferring pictures, songs, videos to your memory card - Wrong Date & time-Please check if you have set correct Date & time on your phone.
- Check for your operator’s wap settings- In case you don’t have correct settings, pls contact your operator customer care & request them to forward you the settings again
